D&AD White Pencil Entry for Peace One Day
One Little Flower One Big Aim
An idea that makes The White Flower as famous for Peace One Day as the Red Poppy is for Remembrance Day.
The White Flower of Peace campaign establishes a universal, inspiring symbol for Peace One Day (21st September)—one as instantly recognizable as the red poppy for Remembrance Day.
THE VISION
Rooted in a compelling story of resilience, the campaign drew inspiration from a white flower that thrived against all odds in the rubble of WWII—a symbol of hope, strength, and new beginnings. The goal was to make the White Flower the global emblem of peace, uniting people across cultures and borders.
This campaign wasn’t just about awareness—it was about inspiring action, creating unity, and making peace a visible, wearable statement. The White Flower of Peace had the power to bring people together and spark a global conversation—one that continues to grow.

MERCHANDISING FOR MEANINGFUL IMPACT
To deepen engagement, I developed a strategy to introduce a physical White Flower of Peace, available in exchange for donations, alongside a beautifully designed merchandise line. All proceeds were intended to fuel the movement and support Peace One Day’s global mission.
